Vodafone’s 'First Step Program’ gave its first graduates!

10 schools in Ankara gave its first graduates within the 'First Step Program’ carried out by Turkey Vodafone Association with the collaboration of Education Ministry and Mother Child Education Foundation (AÇEV) in order to support pre-school education.

In the statement by Vodafone, it was stated that the program applied in 302 nursery classes in 20 cities of Turkey.

It was also pointed that the little students who graduated were given symbolic graduation certificates by the foundation.

It was recorded that the program aimed to increase the rate of pre-school education and to generalize it in Turkey ,and included the following information :

 

36,500 mothers and children met the pre-school education in 302 nursery classes in 3 years. Over 200 teachers were trained specially. The program will go on in 2010-2011 academic year. It is aimed that children’s intellectual, social, emotional, physical and creative skills are developed with the program.
